• Design and build PLC control software for advanced material handling systems on customer projects using Siemens tools and equipment;
• Conduct rigorous testing of control systems, both in emulated environments and with real-world equipment, to validate system performance and reliability;
• Perform commissioning delivering project solution, tested, and documented for the customer meeting or exceeding our standards;
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate automation systems into comprehensive material handling solutions.;
• Create and maintain good relations with customers;
• Maintain Gebhardt image as top-quality, professional company.

• A successfully completed degree in either automation engineering, electronics engineering, or mechatronics engineering;
• A ‘Can-do’ attitude with a passion for continuous learning and embracing new challenges;
• Experience in programmable logic controllers such as Siemens, Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, etc.;
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical drawings and system schematics;
• Previous use of CAD tools;
• Good understanding of automation engineering principles, implementing, and testing with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions;
• Communication skills in English, both written and spoken;
• Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites to support project delivery and collaborate with other teams;
• Valid driving license.
